The 2005 Annual BFA Exhibition features new work by the Kansas City Art Institute’s graduating class of 2005, majoring in art history, ceramics, creative writing, design, fiber, illustration, interdisciplinary, new media, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Installed throughout the Artspace, the 2005 Annual BFA Exhibition presents a range of exemplary, often surprising creations by some of Kansas City’s most exciting emerging artists.

A special programming series in conjunction with the exhibition includes the 2005 Guest Critic Program, a unique, competitive opportunity for seniors to apply for critiques with invited artists and arts professionals in Kansas City. As a culmination to this unique opportunity, a public panel discussion entitled Opportunities: Contemporary Crossovers for Emerging Artists in Kansas City, will be held on April 27, 2005 in Epperson Auditorium at the Kansas City Art Institute.
