Featured Programming: PCAL Workshops

Art+Design Labs is excited to introduce new Pre-College ArtLab (PCAL) workshops, designed for high school students who want to drop in and experience PCAL firsthand, à la carte.

Featured Programming: AdultLab

These classes and workshops are designed for all adult learners (18+) and are offered in the Summer, Fall and Spring. From beginner to intermediate to advanced studios, AdultLab improves your professional art + design development and creative skills.

Pre-College ArtLab

Each summer, high school students nationwide attend PCAL at KCAI. For two weeks, they live in Barbara Marshall Hall, create with faculty in life drawing & studios like Animation, Illustration, Painting, or Sculpture.
The Educators ArtLab participants explore ceramic techniques with Foundation instructor, Elaine Buss.

Educators ArtLab

Art Educators spend one week each summer living on campus, making art, networking, and mastering new skills. They tour KC galleries, the Nelson-Atkins Museum, and experience KCAI firsthand.
