NEW, SIX : KCAI Biennial examines the close ties between humanity and the material world through the exhibition theme, Embodied Connections. The exhibition traces the invisible threads that link us to both the tangible and intangible elements, exploring our ties to technology and the physical world in a multi-cultural landscape.

NEW, SIX: KCAI Biennial features a range of media including drawing, sculpture, ceramics, video, stop-motion animation, graphic design, illustration, design, and text. Participants include Akea Brionne (Foundation/Photo/Film), Elaine Buss (Foundation), Heehyun Choi (Photo/Film), Noelle Choy (Painting), Kevin Demery (Foundation), Bei Hu (Graphic Design), Eva Louise Hall (Animation), Keith Kirkland (Product Design), Samantha Krukowski (Painting), Rodrigo Carazas Portal (Foundation), Seyhr Qayum (Foundation), John Elizabeth Stintzi (Liberal Arts), Evan Tedlock (Animation), and Shuang Wu (Graphic Design).
NEW, SIX: KCAI Biennial is organized for the Artspace by members of the Educational Outreach and Exhibition Committee (EOEC), a faculty-led committee dedicated to connecting the KCAI community of students, faculty, and staff to professional opportunities to exhibit, share, and expand the reach of their work and creative practices. Each year, EOEC works together with local affiliates and institutional partners to organize exhibitions of student work, create opportunities to exhibit work by faculty and staff, and publicize student grant opportunities.
