KCAI Sweeps Student Juror's Choice Awards at A19

KCAI's Graphic Design department had a strong showing at this year's A19 Design Awards & Celebration - recognizing work in the community of Kansas City design.
KCAI swept the Juror's Choice awards for student entries with Kevin Moreland, Sefira Robinson, and partners Katelynn Stevens & Lilah Powlas each taking home awards. Other student awards went to Katelynn Stevens, partners Jack Thomas & Frances Lawes, and Vi Ngo.
Current and recent faculty Lisa Maione (3), tyler galloway, and Bei Hu all won professional awards. Current KCAI Design Director Travis Stewart won an award. Alumni bringing home awards include Julie Hart, Clifton Alexander (2), Chris Johnson, Sarah White (2), Tom Morse-Brown (2), Micah Barta (2), Adam Lock, and Jessi Wilson.
Last but not least, this year's AIGA Fellow award was given to Kelly Ludwig who has taught full-time and part-time at KCAI for a number of years. This is given annually to one designer who has made significant career contributions to Kansas City's graphic design community.
