100 Proof presents a diverse selection of prints created by 23 artists working in collaboration with Landfall Press. Preeminent among a handful of atelier/publishers throughout the world, Landfall Press was founded in 1970 by Jack Lemon, a 1963 graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute.

Surveying nearly 2 decades of innovative artistic collaborations, the exhibition features a broad range of media and techniques that reflect the unique vision and adventurous approach of Landfall Press and its founder and master printer, Jack Lemon.

Landfall Press has collaborated with 234 established and emerging artists to publish 3,000 editions to date, representing a range of contemporary ideas and artistic strategies.

The unique environment of the Landfall Press workshop is collaborative and inventive for artists, printers, and those in apprenticeship through the Landfall Institute of Graphic Arts.

Landfall Press publications have been featured in major retrospective exhibitions organized by the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Art Institute of Chicago; and the Milwaukee Museum of Art.

In 2020, Landfall Press will mark 5 decades of printmaking and publishing. A monograph celebrating fifty years of printmaking at Landfall Press and exploring the ongoing conversations and collaborations will artists will be published by Rizzoli Press.
