Nicky Nodjoumi: The Long Day

Nicky Nodjoumi: The Long Day explores the artist’s ongoing fascination with the representation of political power as well as the complex systems and psychology of corruption and authority. The exhibition includes a selection of recent paintings, ink drawings, and a new suite of lithographs made in collaboration with Landfall Press in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

His work is included in numerous prominent collections worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; The British Museum, London; DePaul Art Museum, Chicago; National Museum of Fine Arts, Cuba; and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. Recent solo and group exhibitions of his figurative paintings and drawings have been presented at Barakat Gallery, Seoul (2018); The Third Line, Dubai (2018); Taymour Grahne Gallery, New York (2016); Metropolitan Museum of Art (2015); and Cleveland Institute of Art (2014).
